Mechanical Engineer (Port Lavaca, TX)

Multiple positions: Prepare purchase requisitions and bid packages for equipment procurement and replacement projects, including tanks, pumps, heat exchangers, pressure vessel, and piping. Evaluate vendor and contractor proposals to ensure the timely delivery of materials in support of project timelines.  Collaborate with the stakeholders to establish a clear project scope, address potential issues, and align objectives for successful project delivery.  Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams including engineers, technicians, and contractors to facilitate seamless project execution, resolve technical challenges, and maintain high-quality standards. Conduct thorough reviews and analyses of engineering specifications, drawings, process flow, and implement necessary updates to ensure accuracy and compliance with project scope.

Requires Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical engineering, Industrial engineering or closely related and 2 years of relevant experience or master’s degree in mechanical engineering, Industrial engineering or closely related.
